Comfortable, dentist-led treatments to help you and your partner sleep better.
Effective snoring treatment for a peaceful night
Snoring isn’t always just a benign habit. Maybe it’s your snoring. Maybe it’s your partner’s. Either way, the effects stack up – broken sleep, tired mornings, a bit more tension than usual.
Around Congleton and Macclesfield, it’s something many people deal with, starting small, then becoming a cycle of restless nights. Earplugs and extra pillows help sometimes. Other times, they don’t.

Transform your sleep with proven Anti-Snoring Treatment
At Moody Terrace Dental Practice, our anti-snoring treatments are designed to address the root cause of disrupted breathing while keeping you comfortable through the night.
Here’s how we help:
- Some patients do well with an oral appliance – it’s fitted to the mouth and adjusts the jaw just enough to keep airways clearer at night.
- We’ll also talk through topics like alcohol usage, sleep position, or weight. These seem diminutive, but they can make a distinction.
- If it’s something more advanced that may require surgery, we’ll connect you with the appropriate professional.
Your 3-step snoringtreatment journey
Here’s what you can expect from us:
1) Personalised Consultation
We start with a simple conversation and a comprehensive examination. We’ll look into your medical record, lifestyle, and any symptoms of sleep-related breathing difficulties to determine if you’re appropriate for a dental sleep appliance.
2) Custom Appliance Fitting
If a dental device is a suitable fit, we’ll take accurate digital scans to create a custom device appropriate for your bite and jaw placement. Once it’s ready, we’ll set it, make sure you’re pleased with it, and lead you on how to wear it correctly.
3) Ongoing Support
You’ll come back for an evaluation after a brief time so we can assess your progress, verify the device is operating efficiently, and perform any required modifications. We’re here to assist you long-term because improved sleep shouldn’t be a one-time solution.

The hygienist I saw was quite formidable but delightful when I found out that she had a problem with cakes and sweet things, she melted when I said wonderful sugar kept her and probably the entire profession in work😉! 10/10.
Excellent treatment by Adam. Always thorough, very gentle and explains results carefully.
Thanks to all.
Sally took the time to explain things to me and addressed the things that made me anxious, resulting in a positive experience.
They are a credit to the team and I would recommend Sally if you do have anxieties around your dental visits, she is amazing!

From the second you arrive at reception you are made welcome, everyone is kind, friendly and supportive, the little touch of someone coming down to reception to meet you and walk you to the consultation room means that you are already quite relaxed with the chat on the way. Throughout my many consultations I never felt rushed or hurried, a very relaxing and chatty experience every time. Adam and later Tom and Robin explained the various processes, offered alternatives and ideas I had not thought of at all. Detailed reports, charts, xrays etc appear in my inbox before I'm even back home, all of which explain everything succinctly.
Well done to the whole team, 10/10, I could not wish for better
I was there for a routine check up but the dentist found time to investigate an ear difficulty that may be caused by my teeth or jaw. He was thorough, knowledgeable and unhurried in his checks. He referred me on, and the practice gave me a very prompt follow on appointment with the appropriate expert.
The dental hygienist was gentle and took on board my preferred way of removing plaque, ie not drowning my mouth and throat with water. Excellent treatment.
Would recommend you to register here if your looking for a Professional team to take care of your dental needs.
Before I attended the practice, I was contacted by phone with a supporting E mail, to explain how Moody Terrace Dental Practice intended to keep their patients and themselves safe, relating to the Corona19 pandemic.
When I arrived for my appointment, I followed the protocol required of me, which was all very dignified, I felt very safe.
My extraction went well, thank you Adam for your care and professonism. 🦷
Highly recommend - sedation his speciality !

Private patient, was given an appointment 2 hrs after calling, crown refitted, xrays taken and toothache checked all in half an hour. Cait a very professional and knowledgeable dentist took the time to explain in detail what happening in a very calm and reassuring atmosphere... Less expensive than I imagined and worth every penny.

Thank you.
A pay scheme would be helpful for costly appointments.

Anti-snoring FAQS
Snoring oftentimes results from the soft tissues in your throat settling during sleep, partially jamming airflow. This vibration causes the snoring sound. For many, the root issue is related to jaw position, tongue placement, or mild sleep apnea.
Yes. At Moody Terrace Dental Practice, we offer custom oral appliances that reposition the jaw and open your airway, often reducing or eliminating snoring altogether.
A mouthpiece for sleep apnea is a personalised device that helps keep the airway open and betters nighttime breathing. By gently moving the jaw or tongue ahead, it can relieve snoring and reduce mild to moderate obstructive sleep apnea. It’s a better alternative to CPAP for many.
Apart from waking up feeling tired, other signs you many need snoring treatment is when you or your partner notice periods of choking or gasping during sleep. Irritability even after the full standard sleep hours along with morning sleepiness are some other signs to get checked as well.
Most patients adjust quickly. The instruments are usually light in weight moulded in way so they fit snugly to shape of your mouth, so they won’t feel clunky or disruptive when inserted.
