in Congleton and Macclesfield
Restore function, close gaps, and protect damaged teeth.
Smile with confidenceand build teeth strength
At first, it feels small. Then, you start chewing differently. Smiling less. The discomfort settles in slowly, but it stays. A broken or lost tooth changes how you eat, speak and feel day to day.
At Moody Terrace Dental Practice, we help patients in Congleton and Macclesfield restore what’s been lost. With custom crowns and bridges, we repair damage, fill gaps, and bring function and confidence back to your bite without compromising how your smile looks or feels.

What we offer to rebuild and restore
We offer durable, natural-looking options to restore your smile’s strength and appearance using high-end digital technology from Dentsply Sirona.
- Ceramic crowns: Designed to blend in. We match the shade and shape closely so the repaired tooth doesn’t draw attention.
- Dental bridges: A practical way to close a gap when a tooth is missing. We anchor the bridge carefully so eating feels normal again.
- Tooth-coloured materials: We don’t use universal shades. Materials are chosen based on your natural enamel and the surrounding teeth.
- Bite correction: Sometimes, a crown or bridge does more than fill space. It helps even out how your teeth meet when you bite down.
- Long-term support: For many patients, it’s about more than a single fix. We plan your treatment with future wear, gum health, and comfort in mind.

The hygienist I saw was quite formidable but delightful when I found out that she had a problem with cakes and sweet things, she melted when I said wonderful sugar kept her and probably the entire profession in work😉! 10/10.
Excellent treatment by Adam. Always thorough, very gentle and explains results carefully.
Thanks to all.
Sally took the time to explain things to me and addressed the things that made me anxious, resulting in a positive experience.
They are a credit to the team and I would recommend Sally if you do have anxieties around your dental visits, she is amazing!

From the second you arrive at reception you are made welcome, everyone is kind, friendly and supportive, the little touch of someone coming down to reception to meet you and walk you to the consultation room means that you are already quite relaxed with the chat on the way. Throughout my many consultations I never felt rushed or hurried, a very relaxing and chatty experience every time. Adam and later Tom and Robin explained the various processes, offered alternatives and ideas I had not thought of at all. Detailed reports, charts, xrays etc appear in my inbox before I'm even back home, all of which explain everything succinctly.
Well done to the whole team, 10/10, I could not wish for better
I was there for a routine check up but the dentist found time to investigate an ear difficulty that may be caused by my teeth or jaw. He was thorough, knowledgeable and unhurried in his checks. He referred me on, and the practice gave me a very prompt follow on appointment with the appropriate expert.
The dental hygienist was gentle and took on board my preferred way of removing plaque, ie not drowning my mouth and throat with water. Excellent treatment.
Would recommend you to register here if your looking for a Professional team to take care of your dental needs.
Before I attended the practice, I was contacted by phone with a supporting E mail, to explain how Moody Terrace Dental Practice intended to keep their patients and themselves safe, relating to the Corona19 pandemic.
When I arrived for my appointment, I followed the protocol required of me, which was all very dignified, I felt very safe.
My extraction went well, thank you Adam for your care and professonism. 🦷
Highly recommend - sedation his speciality !

Private patient, was given an appointment 2 hrs after calling, crown refitted, xrays taken and toothache checked all in half an hour. Cait a very professional and knowledgeable dentist took the time to explain in detail what happening in a very calm and reassuring atmosphere... Less expensive than I imagined and worth every penny.

Thank you.
A pay scheme would be helpful for costly appointments.

Crowns and bridges FAQS
Yes, when done right. We match the colour and shape to your existing teeth, so they blend in rather than stand out.
It depends on how you look after them. With proper care, a crown or bridge can hold up for many years. But grinding, poor brushing, or skipping check-ups can shorten that.
There will be a bit of sensitivity at first, especially if the tooth is already acting up. But it usually settles. Most people don’t need anything more than a mild painkiller.
We’ll look at the gap and the teeth around it. Sometimes, a bridge is enough. Other times, we might talk about implants or other options.
